‘The Moon is Huge Tonight’

A community dance piece out of the Bodmin Moor ‘Dark Skies’ project written by poet and BMPF Director Ann Gray, choreographed by Sam Lawrence.

‘Nightfishing on Mars’

Using experimental poetry techniques, writer and Martiallite Sarah Cave has embarked on an interplanetary exchange with the Hillfort School in Liskeard. During Sarah’s residency at the school, the children have been playing with poiesis, a rare liquid material harvested from their planetary core. With the help of artist and illustrator Lucy Kerr, the children have been imagining and re-imagining landscape, language and space travel through collaborative poetry and visual art workshops. In honour of the W.S. Graham centenary, Sarah, Lucy and their Futurist Space Explorers would like to present…

‘The Nightfishing’

A solo dance piece to W.S Graham’s bravura long poem, commissioned by BMPF, danced by Luke Antysz, narrated by actor Tristan Sturrock, son of Sterts founders Ewart and Annie, Kneehigh stalwart, and currently starring as Zachy Martin in the popular TV series Poldark.
