Sandeep Parmar

Sandeep is a professor of English Literature at the University of Liverpool where she co-­directs Liverpool's Centre for New and International Writing. She holds a PhD from University College London and an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia.

Her books include Reading Mina Loy's Autobiographies: Myth of the Modern, an edition of the Collected Poems of Hope Mirrlees (Carcanet, 2011), and two books of her own poetry published by Shearsman: The Marble Orchard and Eidolon, winner of the Ledbury Forte Prize for Best Second Collection.

Phoebe Power

Phoebe's Shrines of Upper Austria (Carcanet, 2018) was awarded the Forward Prize for Best First Collection. The book is also a Poetry Book Society Recommendation, winner of a Somerset Maugham Award and was shortlisted for the T.S Eliot Prize. Phoebe has collaborated with other artists on projects which include Christi, a video installation involving poetry, visual art and sound. She received a Northern Writers' Award in 2014 and an Eric Gregory Award in 2012.
