Maurice Riorden

A welcome return for Maurice who read at the festival a few years ago. Maurice's most recent collection is The Water Stealer (Faber, 2013). He edited The Finest Music (Faber, 2014), an anthology of early Irish poetry in translation. He is a former editor of Poetry Review and Poetry London.

Currently, he teaches at the Faber Academy and is Emeritus Professor of Poetry at Sheffield Hallam University.

Hugh Dunkerley

Hugh grew up in Edinburgh and Bath and now lives in Brighton with his wife and son. His first full collection, Hare, was published in 2010. His latest collection is Kin (Cinnamon), which appeared earlier this year. Kin is inspired by the experience of becoming a parent and explores our wider kinship with the more-than human world. Hugh is also an eco-critic and environmental activist.

He teaches at The University of Chichester, where he is Reader in Creative Writing and Contemporary Poetry.
