One of the best things about Bodmin Moor Poetry Festival is its friendliness and intimacy; it offers a chance for poets and audiences to mix together.
Being able to mingle with the poets who’ve been speaking is an opportunity that many festivals are too packed to offer, but at Bodmin Moor Poetry Festival, not only do you get a chance to meet the poets, you have a chance to eat with them too.
Mealtimes are a community affair, adding to the feeling of connection that the festival prides itself on. And with Genevieve Frosch as this year’s festival chef, you’re going to want to be there for the gorgeous food that will be available.
Genevieve is looking forward to attending the festival for the first time this year. She loves Cornwall and is greatly inspired by writing and poetry.
Genevieve will be cooking a selection of colourful and tasty dishes, with cakes, biscuits and refreshments on offer all day. The lunches will be simple and light, with lots of soups, salads and quiches, while the suppers will provide a more hearty main for our hungry festival goers. And if you have special requirements don’t worry, she always includes yummy options for those not able to eat gluten, dairy and animal products.
She will also be endeavouring to use only the best local and seasonal goods that she can get her hands on. So don’t miss out!
You bring the words, and Genevieve will bring the food.
